Guided Mountain Biking
Make the most of your mountain bike trip with help from Rising Sun Guides. We`ve been riding the trails of Southwest B.C. for over 20 years and look forward to sharing our experience with you. With so many trails to choose from, the key is finding the right trails for your group, linking them together and adjusting to weather conditions.
Every great ride is even better with a swim in a mountain lake, incredible viewpoints and the best local food either before or after. Our guides will tailor each day to make the most of wherever we decide to go both on and off the bike.
We offer full service guiding with the goal of helping you have the best possible holiday. Your guide will meet you at your accommodation in the morning and head to the trails from there. We usually start at 9am but flexible depending on where we decide to ride and what time you want to get rolling. From there we`ll ride amazing trails all day, potentially stop off at a lake, viewpoint, short hike or restaurant then get back to your accommodation.
On some days we`ll be able to ride directly to the trails and or if we`re planning to go further afield, we`ll provide door to door transport.
Ultimately each day of your trip is fully tailored to what you want to do, how much riding you`re interested in and then supplemented with stops at amazing places in the sea to sky corridor.
Multi Day Trips
The best way to make the most of the region is to spend more time here and we highly recommend staying for at least a week if you can. Your days with Rising Sun are generally pretty active so riding with us 4-5 days out of a 7 day stretch is a great way to go. This way you`ll see a tonne of amazing trails but also have a couple of more relaxed days to rest up or check out the Whistler bike park independently.
Day 1: Arrive in Vancouver and transfer to Whistler
Day 2: Mountain biking in the Whistler area. Afternoon stop at a spectacular sub alpine lake.
Day 3: Mountain biking in Squamish area. Travel the sea to sky highway stopping at Brandywine falls and the Tantalus lookout.
Day 4: Explore the Whistler Mountain bike park independently or take a rest day.
Day 5: Ride in Pemberton, Whistler or Squamish – whichever best suits your interest, skill level and the weather. Evening transfer to Vancouver.
Day 6: Ride the North Shore then head to the airport or stay an extra day to explore Vancouver.
- Rest / bike park days can be floating in your itinerary and adjusted to suit weather conditions after you arrive.
- We can arrange any length trip with as many or as few guided days as you would like.
- Most days will also involve stops at lakes, viewpoints or other spectacular places of interest en-route to or from trail riding.
- We can assist with airport transfers, accommodation bookings and other activities such as hiking or rafting.
- All of our trips are designed specifically for you and your group and all elements can be tailored to your interests.
Our base rate is $600CAD per day for a group of up to 4 riders. This includes a full guided day starting at ~9am, returning to your hotel typically between 3-5pm. Some days may end up being shorter, others longer and start/finish times will be adjusted as needed / requested.
This also includes door to door transport for you, your friends and your bikes as needed. Rates are the same whether we drive to the trailhead or pedal directly from your accommodation.
